Waste Not! Frederick proposes zero waste

Waste Not! Frederick is a grassroots effort by citizens of Frederick County, Maryland to significantly reduce the amount waste generated by local government, businesses, and citizens alike. We seek to provide opportunities to recycle and compost where only limited efforts are currently in place.

Friends of Frederick County position on the WTE-Incinerator

FOFC believes that Frederick County should continue to maximize recycling, reuse and reduction of resource use and focus on development and use of a resource recovery facility to do so.  FoFC believes that a WTE incinerator should not be built unless and until the following conditions are met:
